Venkatesh Prasad brings over 23 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong focus on embedded systems, platform development, and AUTOSAR-based software solutions. As the former AUTOSAR Portfolio Owner for U.S. and European clients, he led strategic initiatives that shaped adaptable, reusable software platforms capable of supporting multiple vehicle programs and global markets.


He has a proven track record in building scalable software architectures—designed to evolve with product complexity—enabling efficient reuse across different vehicle models while reducing development time and cost. His leadership in platform strategy is matched by his ability to set up and manage high-performing, globally distributed engineering teams that consistently deliver to quality and timeline expectations. Outside of his core responsibilities, Venkatesh Prasad is passionate about improving productivity through automation. He actively develops custom tools using Visual Basic and Power BI, helping teams streamline workflows and enhance data-driven decision-making.


His team’s responsibility in the development of RADAR and CAMERA platforms for ADAS is to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of both sensor technologies. Their team also supports the integration of AUTOSAR BSW (Basic Software) for diagnostic, CAN (Controller Area Network), and failsafe mechanisms. Furthermore, we work alongside Mobileye integration for advanced vision processing and ensure smooth bootloader operations for firmware updates and system reliability. Their team is also responsible for testing and validation, both are critical aspects of our role, as we rigorously test the systems to ensure they meet safety standards. Finally, they ensure that both technologies comply with regulatory requirements, addressing data privacy and meeting international safety standards for autonomous driving.


In addition to their core responsibilities, the team collaborates closely with KLK to enhance the performance and reliability of the RADAR and CAMERA systems. This collaboration ensures that both RADAR and camera systems are well-integrated, optimizing overall ADAS functionality. By leveraging KLK's cutting-edge research and development capabilities, we can continuously improve the platform's safety features. Together, we strive to deliver a seamless and efficient ADAS solution that meets the highest industry standards.
